Who is Norman?

Norman, the AI Resume Concierge, is a full-service custom resume builder that uses an advanced agentic AI system to create quality, keyword-optimized resumes following strict instructions written by a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW).

What makes Norman different?

While other AI resume generators tend to be full of fabrication, "AI-isms," and broken formatting, Norman has been carefully developed and tested to ensure its resumes are accurate, well-organized, expertly written, and clearly showcase your unique qualifications to hiring managers.

• Norman uses a chat aks you questions about about anything on your resume that's unclear or incomplete to ensure its information is accurate.
• Norman's validation check ensures your resume meets Polished Resumes standards by checking for errors, and correcting them, before delivering your resume to you.
• Norman protects your privacy by immediately clearing your chat history and form information, and automatically deleting all resumes it creates every 24 hours.

How does Norman work?

1. Norman analyzes your existing resume to get a clear picture of your career history and skills.
2. Norman compares your resume content with current job listings for your target role and determines your relevant skills and experience.
3. Norman asks you questions about any missing or unclear information on your resume.
4. Norman builds you a custom resume tailored to your preferred job and optimized for ATS with target keywords.
5. Norman delivers your new resume in a Google Doc, which you can edit and save or download as a Word document or PDF.

How much does Norman cost?

The price per resume is $10. This includes:

• Existing resume analysis
• Keyword optimization
• Chat session
• Creating a resume draft
• Validating the resume draft and correcting errors
• Formatting and outputting the final resume
• Any changes you request during your session

How long will Norman take to build my resume?

Because of its innovative process, Norman takes a bit longer than traditional resume generators. One resume session can take between 10 and 30 minutes. The more complete your resume, the less time Norman will need to process it.

For the most efficient service, follow the steps below:

1. Fill out as much of the form as possible, including any applicable optional fields.
2. If there's any information Norman should know that's not on your resume, enter it in the Notes field. You can use this field to explain a gap on your resume, add your current job, provide more detail about the job you want, or make any requests about the content of your resume.
3. Make sure your resume contains all of the following:
   • Experience: Company name, location (city, state/remote), and start and end years for all jobs going back 10‑15 years.
   • Education: School name, location, and credential for all education/training.
   • Contact Info: Your up-to-date location, phone, number, and email address.

What if I'm not happy with my resume?

After Norman creates your resume, your chat session stays open so you can review it and ask questions or request changes. Just tell Norman what you want changed.

Can Norman create two resumes for two different jobs?

If you would like two resumes tailored to different jobs, you will need to complete the process twice and enter one job title each time.

I'm outside the US. Can Norman create a resume for me?

Not at this time. Currently, Norman is only equipped to generate resumes for clients in the US. It requires a city and state, searches US job listings and titles, and writes in US English. In the future, I hope to add international resume capabilities.

1. Fill out the form below and upload your existing resume. When you submit the form, Norman will review your information. This might take up to five minutes.
2. When Norman's done processing, it might ask you a question about your resume or career. Type your answer in the chat, and click Send. Once Norman has all the information it needs, it will begin creating your custom resume. This might take up to five minutes. (During this process, Norman might ask more questions to ensure new resume is accurate.)
3. Norman send you a link in the chat. Click it to view your resume as a Google Doc. The link opens in a new tab so your chat stays open.
4. Review your new resume. When you're done, click End Chat.
